After a first test hop about a month go, this is the first short test flight of Grasshopper. Grasshopper is a SpaceX test platform for vertical takeoff, they mastered that part pert well 🙂 And landing! So this is the first step, sorry hop to reusable rockets.
Reusable rockets is a big thing cause it’ll reduce the cost of space flight dramatically. Imaging you would need a new plane for every flight you would make….. The price of a ticket would be enormous.
