On 3 december SpaceX successfully launched Falcon 9 with onboard the SES-8 communication satellite. It’s first geostationary transfer mission. This video was shot by an space loving amateur from Orlando about 100 Km from the launch site. It clearly shows, first stage and the 5,2 meter satellite fairing separation. The video starts at the point where Falcon 9 just appears through the leaves of a tree.
