Falcon-9 tweets photo to Earth

Well, actually this was tweeted by SpaceX a while ago, but I just ran into it again. It’s an amazing snapshot made by the backward pointed camera on the Second stage of the Falcon-9, that launched the Thaicom-6 satellite into a geo transfer orbit. The photo was taken when Falcon-9 was at a distance of 55.000 miles which is about 88.500 Km from Earth. Falcon-9 delivered the Thaicom-6 to this highly elliptical orbit so it could easily reach it’s final circular geo stationary orbit on 35.786 kilometres (22.236 miles) above the Earth’s equator.
